Governor's Award of Excellence (2006, 2007)
For Improving Care in the Ambulatory Care Setting
Thirlby Clinic has recently been recognized as a leader in quality of care and patient safety by receiving the Governor's Award of Excellence for 2007, which it also earned in 2006. In collaboration between Governor Granholm and MPRO, Michigan's Medicare Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Organization, this award recognizes primary care physician offices for actively engaging in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives to enhance the care of adult patients in Michigan. Thirlby Clinic achieved the award by focusing our efforts in the areas of preventive care and chronic disease management. Priority Health Quality Award (2007)
